This special version of the Big Crown Pointer Date celebrates the remarkable life and career of Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer and humanitarian Roberto Clemente, as well as the continuing work of the Roberto Clemente Foundation.

The Roberto Clemente Limited Edition, based on the 40mm Big Crown Pointer Date, features black and gold details inspired by Roberto’s uniform. It includes a leather strap and a NATO fabric strap, and is limited to 3,000 pieces in honour of his career hits. A fitting tribute to a great humanitarian.
The great Roberto
Roberto Clemente is one of the greatest athletes ever to grace baseball. During his astonishing career, he overcame discrimination on account of the colour of his skin to win the World Series twice and the Rawlings Golden Glove award 12 times. He reached 3,000 hits with the last hit of his career. But he was more than a baseball player, devoting himself to disadvantaged communities in his home country of Puerto Rico. Tragically, he died aged just 38 in 1973 taking aid to Nicaragua. The Roberto Clemente Foundation continues his work today.
