Yusra Mardini has an incredible story. At 17, she fled civil war in Syria and left her home behind. Through courage and determination, she realised her dream of going to the Olympics, competing in the butterfly at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Games.

Backed by Oris, the Yusra Mardini Foundation supports Welcome 66. The project works with refugees, many of whom journey to safety by boat, despite not being able to swim. Welcome 66 teaches them to swim, helping them overcome their fears, build confidence and begin a new life.
